Yes, women need to vent more than men as part of the coping mechanism of a situation they perceive as overwhelming, but that's what actual social networks like friends & family are for and women are not the only ones who need to vent.
And even then, LTG is right that some things don't need to be said, but that applies to women too.

Tl;Dr Can't respect women as peers and then infantilize them as if it's expected that they act like idiots. Nor can you treat them like that & then complain about the quality of women in the pool being poor, when you're part of the problem.
