Sony I Demand The Arabic Version Of Spider-man 2!!!
There's two problems with this compromise on Sony's part:
Double standard and Cowardice
Cause if you respect the Arabic way enough to make them an entirely altered experience without the propaganda, why wasn't that same respect offered to the people on your home soil?
What made the Arabic’s so special that Americans have to deal with the message you want to force down their throats or the people like it, but you show the former more consideration, which is the point. Consideration.
Why wasn't that consideration offered so people can buy either port they wanted? Why did you make people play one as if that was the end-all then change your tune at the last second.
Why did it take another culture for you to bend over and take the “message” out.
And the fact that they did it all, shows that they could do that for American too.
All the shit they put in the game was filler fluff they knew could be removed without compromising the essential experience-- meaning all that woke shit was NOT essential.
Moreso, instead of telling them no, deal with it like they do with Americans (The reason the MJ missions consisted in this game is cause they knew people didn't like it & wanted to force people to play them anyway). They didn't spare that attitude for the middle east, instead they compromised.
Thus the "message" is also compromised, if it wasn't important enough for you to stand up for it and sacrifice sales for what the devs presumably think is a just cause-- then the cause was full of shit and they know it, hence why they removed it. Cowards.
If you’re not going to respect customers as a whole, then share the same energy you demonstrate with one demographic as with the next.
Playing favorites for the sake of revenue shows you don’t believe in what you’re pushing.
Which means you’re lying to the people you’re pandering to. Cowardice.
