Agreed Matt, Its leagues harder because you're battling their ego, their views, the room and their goalpost moving.
People online will always change the topic & move the goalpost or insult when they're cornered so imagine someone dealing with that in realtime because they know they're running out of pre-script responses.

Matt is correct because I said the same thing when I saw Knowles' debate ring 2days ago- I could NEVER do that because as a personality, I do not have the patience to entertain a train of dishonesty, to deal with consecutive ego from people who want to fight instead of have a conversation.
Its basically sitting in a reddit thread physically. It'd be so draining on just your patience.
Matt is 100% right, to do this isnt about it being it easy its about having the charisma and personality to maintain yourself opponent after opponent after opponent while making your case, while respecting theirs, while backing up what you say with valid study, or possible switch ups or traps and they all will lie to your face just to save face even when they know they're wrong.
To do this for just 10min is a skillset in itself, let alone an hour between a ring of people who's first objective is to humiliate & break you. Not all of them, some of them are mild mannered but a good majority are just there to fight an enemy they created in their heads but your face was glued to that fabrication.
to pull this off is nothing to scoff at
