7:16 Thorias' take on the c*ck thing is interesting, there's actually plenty of (air quotes) "men" that are into that garbage & far worse, but the thing is, Hollywood bombarding men with this disrespect is actually what helps perpetuates these fetishes to exist in the first place.
when the culture seeds disrespect of men for being men for decades on end, then some (air quotes) "men" will perpetuate it themselves as a coping mechanism.
so it's paradoxical: there's plenty who like it, and yet the environment they lived in (including what they watch) is precisely why they think they like it in the first place.
it didn't just come outta nowhere; decades of this cultural abuse will leave a mark eventually.
And to tie back to the show, it's insane how persistent it is, even plenty of women are tired of men being written like this, jaded, outdated, rugged and rejected.
It's inorganic and unnatural. And so one sided, and men in positions of power allow it.😂😂😂
