𝗔 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗸𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲, and the lack of Psycho-GTS cliche is appreciated. The issue is it's still GTS.

(So 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗧𝗦 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼, cause gts is by design: trash.)


𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿'𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗵, than it is a genuine attempt at an ecchi comedy, 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗮 𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗸 or my bride is a mermaid. Leagues better, hilarious titles, with plenty of fanservice that didn't piss me off, hilarious. (𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱) ) ✅



Without Spoilers i'll say: 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 "𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴", still cringe, but as it goes on it's less funny, and more repetitive, formulaic, more cringe, predictable.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗺𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗸 "GIANT Ojou-Sama", 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗻. ⛔


Thus the title is held back at times by the fact that the Author seems to really subscribe to 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 so the punchlines and situations mainly are limited & or focused to revolve around that one aesthetic, for better and worse. Hence the title. Very little variety in the material.


𝘃𝘀 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗮, 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗸, which are legit funny ecchis because their gags have variety, because the core of the material isn't one single fetish hijacking the materials direction.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁-𝗢𝗷𝗼ke Sama's 𝗙𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆, 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆, execution. As macrocreepisms tend to do, always lacking, but very telling.

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟭'𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 (2022) 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗻 (𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗼'𝘀 𝗮𝘀𝘀, 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲)

BUTT, writing wise the Author added some 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗼'𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.✅

Oriko's a decent character 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗲'𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝘆 for The Authors imprint misfire.



𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
• Art is average initially. The Author is definitely improving their style as time passes. So props to them for that.✅ Some of the enemies later on are surprisingly well designed, fun designs, cool designs, and most of the interior set pieces throughout the chapters are decently drawn. ✅


• Action panels are fine, Chapters 1's Remake is the best action sequence so far and that's because it's a recent revise from the Author's current art skills, again props to them for that.✅


• 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲: But the issue here is, 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝘆 or ironic, It's blatant macrophile pandering, and to top it off, the execution is in no way clever, the fanservice plus Oriko's embarrassment doesn't always equal funny, just cringe.⛔

And if you're reluctantly fluent in Macronese, you'll realize Giant-O-MID Sama is not fresh or a new take on giantess, bro's just publishing a vanilla gts doujinshi you could find anywhere else, but for the general public. That's all this is.  ⛔

• Unfortunately, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗧𝗦 𝗮𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵, hence the title. And because the most creativity they do with it is dress her up in different clothes while gigantic to pander. The giant girl novelty very quickly wears out.⛔

• Turns the manga into, again, a 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘆, the gigantism isn't a vehicle for the comedy nor is it necessary, you could easily just give Oriko a mech or actual Superman powers instead

(which is leagues more powerful than just being a giant, one of the lamest powers in fiction & with powers like that you get waaaaaay more scenarios for comedy & ecchi)

The gigantism is the comedy/ namesake & content, the point, a lot of the time, and it's contrived despite the authors blatant attempts to make it necessary. 

There's but so many times you can get "𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱𝘇𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀𝘀" for the 170th time, before it gets old, invasive. Especially if you're already numb to it.

𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲⛔Which is the death of funny, but it does serve obsession, which is what is really about for the dedicated & initiated.

So, if they switched it up and made Oriko the final boss to serve that psycho itch, it'd just become the average crap standard gts doujinshi that's pumped out in waves.

• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 (𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝘂𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲- which is what he does at one point, just RUINS a scene by having them talk, she's normal scale, then Sebas looks up and her ass is just there because *Oopsie.....)

Or Oriko trying to figure out a chaotic situation, she's very fun to watch in isolation without the macrophile-contrivance.✅She could've been a great character man, what a waste. 

Could've even upgraded her to wearing a cool ass Tokusatsu outfit (form-fitting ofc for the gooners), turn her iconic. A modern day Ultraman-F. imagine that genre turn, THE WASTED POTENTIAL, this is what happens when you fetish, you undercook your food. Brain meats work at nerfed capacity. 

Which is PRECISELY it always reads like children (with brain damage) are writing this crap. Just the dialogue alone, nevermind how silly this giant woman garbage is, it's so infantile. 

And it's coming from grownass adults, not 12 yr olds with hormonal imbalances.

• • Another plus, as i've said, this is not the usual GTS-Psycho territory that that cult- *excuse me, "community" is known for and no the manga doesn't waste time getting to the Giant girl stuff- so much so, 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 with it, or 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗰𝗰𝗵𝗶 𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗱. So the reason this is an L despite it being a plus is it's garbage because it's desperate tbh. Because it inevitably gets shoved down your throat. (𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁.) ⛔

Which is why it's more spectacle than it is comedy. 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘆 or wit, 𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗽𝗶𝗱.⛔Hence the Manga TL;DR And Giantess inherently asinine, so the crutch is inevitable.

• 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, she's not a Officer Nikki✅(do not look that bitch up pls)

• Without spoilers, the side & minor characters and story overall are about as interesting as a box of rusted coins as is Oriko's character, she's likable, yes, so is Deku, but they're not interesting.⛔ 



• Hence, this would've better off as a full on comedy Doujinshi, thus it can go all the way with it's macrocreep pandering and 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗬 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲, the story and it's comedy potential otherwise feels held back by the fetish niche itself trying to be public, limited, it's nerfed. 

Cause Fetishes aren't upgrades to human experience, they're glitches, shackles. Literal brain glitches imprinting on shit your child mind couldn't properly translate.

Not advantages (like good looks), or something good. They're crutches. So to base a story around that superficial defect is uphill battling. ⛔Which is why fetishists are talents wasted on Whreetardation

• A lot of the dialogue is not the best, very cringe.⛔ That's been a macrocreep staple for almost.....15-20 years of internet?

• 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮, 𝟯𝟰, 𝗲𝘁𝗰. 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲'𝘀 are the title being decent, because it tries to delve into characterization while keeping the macrophile stuff on lowkey, the comedy does better without shoving giant girl fanservice down your throat (too much) ✅ 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱'𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀




𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁: Giant Ojoke-Sama has it's moments but it lacks staying power. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵𝘆 𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝘀𝘀/𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 (because thats the main course if she can't kill hordes of people, you're getting panty shots & growth scenes) that relies on one gimmicks aesthetic to justify it's existence. 🚮
Doesn't break new ground that hasn't been tread already by a previous GTS take, cause GTS is by design: Garbage.


4/𝟏𝟎 I know there are types who will be into this regardless, aka zealots.
But for the general public with taste for competence? 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝, just watch Desert Punk, there's literally a dream sequence where the mc is a mini-mi on the cleavage of one of the main heroines bosoms. See? We got our looming mommy fix.

If you want to waste time on something poorly written but it's entertaining, decent action, funny at times, and has some heart, just go read 𝗕𝗼𝗸𝘂 𝗡𝗼 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼.

2025:

 As expected it got worse, author added more giant chics, cause they ran out of ideas. The situations just perpetually repeat the same creepy punchline- AS I PREDICTED: as Chp 143 is some of the worst manga writing, worst writing i've ever seen in 2025, if not ever. 

The girl not only gets bigger from getting attention (which is just as dumb as that nurse bitch who grows from water & sunlight) but she speaks in third person, so we can add infantile to the list, just....

Worse than I remember, all the praises prior will remain because they're still relevant (because back then the title was new & the author didn't lose their own plot being a macrogoof).

• Fetishists will always re-tread the same tropes they do in their little cult circles because they're addicts to the delusionist cope called "fetish" & "fantasy". If you insist on shoving your crap down the throat of the public, raise the bar and stop doing what you people have been doing for the past 20 years. Morons.

The same shit in doujinshi's, and their gentle genre porn comics, aint nothing about this fresh, vibrant, good, original or new.

 It's just visible, that's it. 

 That's the only difference here. These folk are consistently talented in art, animation, production, it's actually mindblowing how much this energy WILL NOT go into improving themselves-- but genuinely incapable of originality or breaking the story free from the fetishism, because they themselves are slaves to it. 

Thus the writing is always & I mean ALWAYS garbage, from that Mark 'Deaf GTS' guy from waaay back to these new bloods trying to amp up the immersion, just sell your souls all the way and when you're 60 years old and looking back on all this shit, what the fuck was even the point idol worshipping something reality said plainly "Fuck you, you'll never have it". 

It's in-fucking-sane how consistent the lack of quality it possesses despite how good it looks, like a golden turd.

So it began as tolerable, fun trash, but as is, the title has stopped pretending it wasn't always fetishy garbage. 

2/10 Should've stayed as a one-shot (to preserve whatever authenticity it possessed, & it did have some, even if barely) or just been a doujinshi in the first place.

It gets a 1 because the art isn't total booty.

Ghost Rider - Final Vengeance #1-6 (TL;DR "A whole lotta nothing")

 

Shame about Parker, and it's really a waste how he didn't even make a dent in the Marvel landscape when he had the power. Someone on #1's comments mentioned him pulling up on Strange or the Avengers or he should do that, i was actually hoping for that but he didn't even do 1% of that.

His ambitions were so small, he didn't even realize the scope of Zarathos himself, what exactly he was capable of. Truly a loser, had all that might, no respect, even his ex-wife pulled away, tragic.

Story itself was a waste of time, especially 90% of Issue 1 wasted on stupid contrived side plots that didn't matter, and the one's the writer gave the most panels to were the LEAST interesting of the prospects, so time was wasted on mediocrity instead of giving the reader the best possibilities to stew on. An expected end, nothing was really was lost (Robbins didn't really do anything when you think about it) or much was gained beyond Z & Blaze are on the same page. Back in the same place.

Not recommended for a serious read but it's good to skim through.
