Someone complaining about Susan Murphy's dress not being a mini in a kids movie

Noticed that too, & yet the dress soaked in the same radiation she did did it not? Hell it was in the trailer. Number #1.

#2 So while it tore, it's molecular integrity not giving way entirely (along with her skin not having stretch marks due to sudden expansion if realism is what we're really arguing in a movie where a Blob talks without a voicebox or lungs), it makes sense because again the same radiation that gave her the attributes, the dress absorbed it too.

  • It's the minute details that lie under the details you thought you caught.

At best you could argue

"Well if the dress absorbed it why did it tear at all, why did her shoes not expand too?"

They're not organic material sport nor did it originate from the energy's own manufacturing inception, the material is the entire damning factor. In a way, her hair going white could be seen as her body processing immense stress from the sudden over stimulation of her pituitary gland. (This is a detail acknowledged in the original 1958 Attack of the 50ft woman movie)

Hence why the alien suit she wore at the end of the movie expanded with her & ALSO didn't tear when she reverted to normal form AND went back to monster mode.

The suit, like her dress, bathed in the energy but unlike her dress, the suit originated from the same manufacturer. Thus less tear. But the point is they both expanded with her because of the radiation bath.

When you remember that she's like this because of a radiation/residual alien energy bath, the clothes not tearing is the least of the problem. Non-issue really, again, it's the details under the details you thought you caught.

Not about the animators not having "fun" (whatever that implies), you just got disappointed for the wrong reasons.
