DC HATES And Disrespects Superman

In contrast, they really REALLY want Supergirl to be relevant, to supplant him. Despite her just being a gimmick, a seasonal DLC.

Every attempt to try to push her ends in a wet fizzle. Everytime.
She's one of the most underwhelming characters in DC but WB can't keep her out of their mouths like she's deep or some shit.

They'd sooner give us a "woman of tomorrow" movie than give Cassandra Cain or Jason, or Sodam Yat any time of the day.
WE STILL haven't gotten Superboy Prime in a show, or a Starfire movie. Make that make sense to me.

So on top of all of that, yea, they're going to neglect a superhero who represents the best of humanity, in an era where humanity is going to shit. And try their damnest to push the knockoff who in theory represents the same thing, just minus any authenticity because again, she's sloppy seconds, badly coped homework that the teacher wouldn't grade because it's so shitty.

MOS was a mess, My Adventures with Lois-Chan was a fucking embarrassment. A rushed, wholesome piece of shit, New 52 with a side of Tumblr, & some cameos because it can't stand on it's own two feet for obvious reasons, it's incompetent and it's garbage. *Just watch The Animated Series.*

Superman & Lois, Smallville were decent.

Red Son was trash.

Injustice was a wet blanket. Somehow, the movie in some ways less insufferable than the comics.

DCAMU had so much potential, and ended too soon.

This new DC animated movie verse was basically non-existent for me, i don't give two shits. That man of tomorrow movie was a feverdream, the script had 3 things going on, didn't know what it wanted to be.

Superman Returns is tricky, him leaving like that is out of character but the movie itself is more Superman than anything we've gotten since. As of 2024

*The most solid depiction of Superman in post 2000 DC, on-screen is the DCAU version.*

The biggest issues there are the nerfs, but as for characterization? DCAU Timmverse pulled it off. Cause they definitely amped up his powerlevels as the seasons went on.

Superman FOR TOMORROW by Lee & Azzarello. Good read. Also deals with Supes in a modern world where the old school boyscout shit doesn't always work.

DC doesn't know what to do with Superman atm, because they forgot the point of Superman.

Superboy prime was one of the earlier evil superman takes that worked because he was supposed to be a contradiction, a hypocrite, a glitch in the matrix.

He should've been gotten a role as a game boss or something, surprised DCUO hasn't already done it, they're pushing Supergirl because they forgot that they have Superman already, you literally do not need her when Superman exists.

They're trying to trivialize him by making him evil 24/7 and replace him with Kara BORE-EL or PowerTits, and no matter how hard they try and have been trying the past 10 years to do it. She'll never replace him. Never. She doesn't have the ability, and never will. She's a party trick. He's the ideal, the blueprint of modern superheroes.

DC needs to remember that, they need to remember that they have THE Ultimate Superhero in their possession (until he's public domain & they might buy him again)

So they need to put her lame ass to rest, and give love to better characters. Some of them queer, some of them not even humanoid.

All they need to do to make Superman work, is just put him in a situation (like war world) where he's deprived of every reason to hope and through sheer will provide hope to the prisoners by never giving up.

Like Gladiator but with Superpowers, Superman fighting his way back home, intergalactic action.

OR? Just adapting the recent "UP IN THE SKY" story, that as a movie would be a narrative masterpiece for Supes, because that book perfectly embodies Superman. Perfectly.

A race with Flash, time travel, inter-galactic battles, Superman going through hell to save one little girl, a serious question of how much one child's life is worth vs the rest of humanity- it's a good story.

That is what should be a movie, that movie would fix the DC Superman problem, not entirely but it would be a reset, a needed reset.

Snob vs Virtue Signaling: The value of Relationships

Exactly, the quality of the relationship is being overlooked just for the aesthetic of being in one or having one. It's exactly how people treat sex and babies, ""having done it" or "having one", materialism and ego.

People can say they conformed to norms. Social brownie points, and at the end of the day, doing all of that gave you no advantage or superpowers.

We treat relationships like a box on a to do list. Pressuring ourselves for no reason, then we do finally do it, it's like "Okay, now what?" Lmfao, it's not like sex cures cancer, it's a glorified docking mechanism to create more people but somehow humans hijacked it to be social sport.

And because we treat sex & coupling so recklessly, it's treated like a game. People hop into it just so they say they have it or doing it. Thus the meaning is nonexistent.

Like marriage, It doesn't meant anything anymore, we experience it to say we "lived" in a childish superficial shallow sense and not live the experience to commit to it.

And yes, snob, it's not just having it, it's what you do, where you go, and most importantly what you bring to the table and what is built from it. The QUALITY.

Hence why Chibi is the same EXACT mf he was before he involved himself with her. And we haven't heard much from her or about her since.

He showed her off like a new toy, and then when things got normal, things got boring, she either left or he left. Now he's back to square one.

No different for a divorcee on their 3rd attempt at playing house.

*It's like the saying, "people don't make love anymore, they just have sex and fuck."*
Relationships have a fickle purpose in modern world, trivialized & inflated at the same time, people using other human beings to inflate their own egos, than build networks.
Associations with a set purpose of justifying your sense of existential security, than craft a bond.

Building a bond is not even a concept anymore, doesn't even come up in passing conversation for most people, most of us just fuck, use each other up, dating simulator, and move on. Doesn't mean people aren't "in love" or feel anything, but being in love just means being in the moment. And while that's enough for many, it also means it's on a timer, because feelings (without an anchor of trust, transparency or respect) do not last forever, doesn't mean anything when it doesn't last thus the premise of the couple was ultimately a failure, one of many.

Not that everything should be a ceremony but this is what happens when society snorts too much cynicism when it comes to relationships, you trivialize things you shouldn't be treating like a joke.

Then wonder why nothing you have with someone ever lasts. It's got nothing to do with humans not being meant for monogamy, and it's got everything to do with current culture warping people's expectations and standards into cold unfeeling hedonistic impulse.

People just going through the motions.

Too many people have fun when they're teens, and never grow up. Have so much fun trying to rack up experiences to say you lived, you forgot to build a foundation to experience being alive.

TL;DR Marriage, Relationships, sex, babies. Because a lot of us feel it's expected, so many do it to do it because you can do it, most of us then take it for granted.

Issues with My Hero Academia #40: A cashgrab of wasted ideas

The movies have actually been superior to the actual show, slightly, still plot armor, still corny as shit. But they're more focused in a sense where Deku is treated more like a main. Again, ever so slightly. The biggest issues with all 3, is the insistence on having the entire class involved, ESPECIALLY in the first movie. And the villains being broken but lose anyway because mf punched rly rly hard. Otherwise, the movies are a slight improvement solely because Horikoshi supervises but the man doesnt write these movies, so this is actually very good news. Im curious to see what the deal is next. I'm genuinely invested to see what movie 4's got. Movie 3 was OK. Heroes Rising is decent. Two heroes woulda been better if the rest of Class 1A kindly fucked off. Deku is always smothered by those fuckers, he cant take a piss without them there to shake it for em. I woulda said bath instead but technically they deadass gave the bastard a bath. I shit you not. My man couldn't wash himself by himself, he was not allowed to lmfao. The 1A boys committee had to supervise him taking a bath, jfc man

Oxford Boxing Champion | Primal Season 2 Episode 5 (2022)

one of the best episodes in the entire series. And it didn't have the main characters, that's damn good writing.

The Government betrays the Veterans (for Illegal Immigrant parasites)

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCHe09DxFZg

The Government spits in the face of its bravest and strongest.

We’re either involved in other people’s wars, or giving shit to people who don’t deserve shit, taking out the mouths of Americans to put in the pockets of illegal immigrants.

WHO SKIPPED in front of immigrants who are in line to do things the right way.

How is illegal immigration fair to immigrants that are doing it the right way or DID it the right way? We’re telling them basically: “Fuck you, you wasted your time.”

Potential impending Civil War

I always thought that Civil War that elites wanted was about blacks vs whites, I'm starting to realize what it might've been the entire time was Americans vs Illegal Aliens.
