"a world without trans people has never existed and never will", duh.

In retrospect tho, we're talking a minority of 0-3% (a generous 3.5 if we count the undocumented), no one reasonably should propose a world without them because the number is so deflated.

So what would be missing in a world without trans people-- is there would be one less way for people to argue, label, and put themselves in a box. Which people do anyway, regardless of trans people.

so a world "without" trans people would be redundant because the statistic is so inconsequential as is, it makes no difference.

They might as well exist, why not.

To no one's surprise, there are even smaller groups among the layman- worth heaps more trouble, cringery, & mischief disproportionate to their demographic sizes. And a mild mannered trans community is not one of them.
