Imagine reading a synopsis where a main heroine  gets into various situations because she’s too nice to say no. (Komori-San can’t decline)

Sounds wholesome, i like wholesome. Most do.

I’d assume the story is to display her journey on learning how to say no and her failed attempts is the comedy.

Sounds like Slice of Life/ aka Slice of boring but it’s a weekend, so why not- 

You watch the anime, not even 2min in, and the first close up shot of the 15 year old child is NOT a reasonable full body shot where we see her face, like in the manga:

 Junko, the main femme fatale of the story (And if you know Junko, she was packing serious heat & she used that to her advantage.)

So the context of the fanservice was, she took advantage of her assets.

Not her being taken advantage of by the situation because the Author & Studio assumes i’m too stupid to pay attention to the story on my own ability

So i can enjoy a well endowed lady, especially when (the context is) they’re grown women-- not a minor/kid

Funny how Raven is literally a half-demon in a one piece swimsuit & a cloak/Starfire is an alien rocking a mini with some midriff but both girls get more respect from their writers than all MHA girls put together.

TT2003 is allowed to be an actual characters with arcs & shit, and not just waifu props to support the boys from the background and get MAYBE 1 or 2 episodes to maybe be useful.

• And a flashback, a slight change in motivation, and showing their friends their room is considered “character development”
• Or a beach episode where they showcase their young little bodies in still shots (Because it’s not like we can use this time to develop them as people???? pfft nah)

Because there’s a STARK difference compared to the Manga, this tells me that the Studio went out of their way to prioritize animating frames of a 15 year old kids breasts bouncing center-screen than just showing us the girl:

I don’t mind fanservice, I’d prefer none of the Japanese kind (because real fanservice is easter eggs & parallels, reference, respecting other works, META is fanservice)

 but the way japan does it, this show, that’s a hard pass. Why? Cause it’s unnecessary, and it’s gratuitous.

Aang never chose to be the Avatar, in fact he ran from it, but since Book 1 his path was set by Roku himself that he had to master the elements by the end of summer to fight one of the most dangerous benders on the planet during a cosmic event where their god given power would be boosted ten fold.

Aang didn't set out to do that in episode 1, he was aimless.

In fact his path wasn't even stablished until the Solstice Episodes after he met Heibai. Up til then it was Aang just getting used to being the Avatar.

Aang was chosen.

Deku was lucky.

He wasn't chosen by U.A., Deku chose U.A.

The path of the Hero didn't choose Deku, he chose it because of All Might. Which is fine, but that's not a chosen one.

All Might didn't choose Deku by virtue of Deku actually proving anything, Deku was available & rushed into danger headfirst. And being reckless meant he was worthy.

In all respects, Melissa was a leagues better choice but she was a retcon/ later addition so we have to overlook that little gap that Yagi overlooked a genius intellect quirkless for some no talent having NPC he didn't even know.

He didn't even have Inko's permission to train the kid either, ppl forget that, Yagi (some strange man she didn't know) had direct isolated access to her son without her consent or knowledge lmfao.

Deku in his own story is put last after a very early point, he wasn't even treated as chosen or unique by Horikoshi himself, Izuku was just a face among many who are all equally special, valid & visible, and amazeballs.

good work on his part for going in depth on the gameplay section vs the other crap, this is basically like a poor mans Nier: Automata. Tho the enemy designs in Stellar Blade are better.. I personally prefer organic enemy to robots 

 Those special moves have pretty colors, i'll give it that much i guess, Again the demon aesthetic for the boss designs are pretty cool, most of this thing just looks cheap.

And yeah, there's no exaggeration to the body types, she just looks like a slender average toothpick with no jawline, looks so plastic. the ppl going gaga for Eve’s rump  here likely have little life experience to tell the difference between a butt and actual cake. 

  Game's whole cultural stake is carried by the purdy pixels gimmick, Create-A Sim dressup mode, more like "Beta Blade".

Which is why this isn't an answer to wokeness but actually will enable it. Because this isn't a good look. This  is the other side of the woke coin, equally cringe.

 Games like this  don't age well because the presentation is transparent & oozes desperation, a little bit of a creepy factor. It defeats itself because it communicates to the mainstream that for women to be pretty or appealing women have to be objectified and the fact that that is the main reason why this got any attention vs the ACTUAL GAME- is why the mainstream machine will go even harder. 

It’s not like the game presented the characters respectfully & showed the west how it’s done WITHOUT the sexploitation, no it just tapped into a different degree of second hand embarrassment and ppl actually think this is a step in the right direction.

 Elizabeth Comstock is pretty, smart,  interesting arc & story, powerful as sh^t , sassy, pretty hot in the DLC when she pulls the femme fatale style--

 but you can’t dress her up in stripper outfits & the in-game camera doesn’t pan on her rear when she does a special attack. (imagine my disappointment)

The difference here is respectful execution vs playing Barbie with digital waifu’s, gameplay be damned, the dressup is the real reason for the majority  following for this game.

(Reminds me of the shortlived buzz surrounding Quiet from MGSV, or that Amazon Vampire from RE8 that nobody talks about anymore)

 And the reason for that is dressing them up & down is a mechanic of control, if they put a Sims 3 body modifier in the mix, you’d get 5x the following for this game. It's not about the actual game, it's about ppl (mainly boys) playing with dolls.

Shame about Parker, and it's really a waste how he didn't even make a dent in the Marvel landscape when he had the power. Someone on #1's comments mentioned him pulling up on Strange or the Avengers or he should do that, i was actually hoping for that but he didn't even do 1% of that.

His ambitions were so small, he didn't even realize the scope of Zarathos himself, what exactly he was capable of. Truly a loser, had all that might, no respect, even his ex-wife pulled away, tragic.

Story itself was a waste of time, especially 90% of Issue 1 wasted on stupid contrived side plots that didn't matter, and the one's the writer gave the most panels to were the LEAST interesting of the prospects, so time was wasted on mediocrity instead of giving the reader the best possibilities to stew on. An expected end, nothing was really was lost (Robbins didn't really do anything when you think about it) or much was gained beyond Z & Blaze are on the same page. Back in the same place.

Not recommended for a serious read but it's good to skim through.
